4/14/2024 0 Comments 1963 ford thunderbird paint colors![]() We love the Jetson’s mid-century styling of the 1963 T-Birds and this is our favorite color. All the rubber seals have been replaced and are in excellent condition. Her chrome and stainless-steel trim are in overall excellent condition with only some wear showing on the rear tail lamp trim rings. The T-Bird’s paint is complimented with its restored painted wheel covers. The livery originally was Acapulco Blue (Paint Code E) and now repainted with three coats of a beautiful vibrant blue that replicates Silver Mink Blue. ![]() This is all documented in detail, which will be provided to its new owner. During the restoration, several mechanical upgrades had been made to provide greater horsepower, cooler operating temperatures and better gas mileage (providing 17 MPG on the highway). The restoration was focused primarily on making it a great driving and reliable tour car but resulted in being a concours worthy example. He then commenced a full complete nut and bolt restoration from 2014 through 2019. In 2014, the current owner purchased this Thunderbird from its second owner, who lived in the California Gold Country. This highly optioned T-Bird has all the desirable power features and air conditioning and is ready for touring or regional concours events. This was a two prior owner example that has been thoughtfully restored and is in overall excellent condition today. This is a beautiful fully restored rust-free 1963 Ford Thunderbird coupe that spent its life in California and has benefited from a fully documented professional restoration.
